OzForex, started in 1998, is an Australian online foreign exchange and payments company with a headquarters in Sydney operating under a number of different territory specific brands that include UKForex, CanadianForex, NZForex, USForex as well as ClearFX and Tranzfers. The company provides money transfer services to Travelex, MoneyGram, ING Direct and Macquarie International Money Transfers as well as individuals such as migrants and expatriates.

Services

International Money Transfers- enables money to be transferred between 48 different currencies, online or via phone.

Forward contracts & FX Options - offers several currency hedging instruments, including forward contracts, limit orders and FX Options.

White Label services - offers International Payment Solutions to third parties, by making its platform available to partners as a white label service.

Currency Information - provides extensive, free currency information including daily, weekly and monthly commentary and reports, historic rates, and FX tools such as calculators and converters.

Regulation

Australia - Australian Financial Services Licence (AFSL) issued by the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC). Canada - CanadianForex is a wholly owned subsidiary of OzForex. In Canada, CanadianForex is a Money Services Business as defined in the Proceeds of Crime (Money Laundering) and Terrorist Financing Act (PCMLATF Act) and as such is regulated by FINTRAC in Canada. UK - UKForex Limited is a wholly owned subsidiary of OzForex. In the United Kingdom under the Money Laundering Regulations 2003, commercial foreign exchange companies are treated as "Money Service Businesses" which are covered by regulations administered by HM Revenue & Customs.
